Sumifru Improves Global Voice Communications with Silver Peak

Global corporations often rely on voice-over-IP (VoIP) communications to collaborate across distributed offices. Silver Peak Virtual Acceleration Open Architecture (VXOA) software employs a variety of tools toensure toll-grade voice quality over the WAN, including advanced quality-of-service (QoS) techniques, forward error correction, and traffic shaping. The Silver Peak VXOA software also improves jitter over congested WANs, reducing it to less than 1 millisecond (ms) on average. Similarly, Silver Peak VXOA software improved bandwidth utilization for dozens of other applications by more than 30% in total.
