Consortium of investors sell stake in Zenprise to Citrix Systems

Zenprise, Inc., a provider enterprise mobile management and mobile device management software, has been acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc., a designer, developer and marketer of information technology solutions. Both the companies are based in the US.
Announcement (December 5, 2012):
Zenprise has agreed to be acquired by Citrix Systems.
Zenprise has been backed by investment firms Greylock Partners, Bay Partners, Ignition Partners, Mayfield Fund, Rembrandt Venture Partners and Shasta Ventures.
O'Melveny & Myers LLP is acting as legal advisor to Zenprise and Bingham McCutchen LLP is acting as legal advisor to Citrix Systems. The transaction is anticipated to close during the first quarter of 2013.

Deal Rationale

This combination will give Citrix Systems the first solution in the industry for managing mobile devices, applications and data from a single, integrated enterprise mobility product line.
