Sound Telecom Hires Neri Luria as Bilingual Services Manager
Denver has a Hispanic population of 32 percent - twice that of the national population percentage - and has witnessed an increase in demand for bilingual Spanish-English speaking agents to support its customers.
Hence, Sound Telecom, a provider of 24-hour telephone answering and call center services, took this opportunity to open its newest regional office in that area and hired Neri Luria as bilingual services manager, as part of a larger effort to support the nationwide growth of the company's bilingual services.
She will be overseeing Sound Telecom's new bilingual telephone answering service and call center in Westminster, a northwest suburb of Denver, Colo.
"Neri's unique talents make her a perfect fit to oversee our bilingual agent staff, develop and monitor call center performance, assist with translation and provide bilingual sales assistance," said John Dubay, director of operations at Sound Telecom, commenting on the appointment.
Sound Telecom expects to hire 10 to 15 fully bilingual employees in the next 12 to 18 months.
What is significant is that during the last eight years, Neri has worked with T-mobile's business intelligence department as a bilingual quality project specialist. In addition, she has held various positions in major companies and developed strong collaborative skills, as well as the ability to analyze and resolve issues by creating win-win solutions.
Officials at Sound Telecom were impressed with Neri's ability to think outside of the box. Being a motivated self-starter was also a point in her favor as both attributes were essential to ensuring bilingual Spanish-English agent support to both English and Hispanic-owned businesses.
