Canadian Office Products Association Honors Cobra Tag With Most Innovative Product Award of Excellence & People's Choice Award for Best New Office Product of the Year

The Cobra Tag is an innovative alarm and loss prevention system for protecting smartphones and other personal items. This system pairs the free Cobra Tag smartphone app with a small, brilliantly designed key fob device via Bluetooth(R) that can be attached to any valuable such as car keys, a briefcase, luggage or a purse to be protected from theft or accidental loss. The device has a two-way notification system that monitors the distance between both items and produces an audible alert to the owner when the valuable item or the smartphone is being left behind. Cobra Tag also includes a handy feature that allows the owner to tap a button on the Tag device to force the smartphone to ring, and a similar function on the smartphone's app to make the Tag unit ring. If the items become separated, the Cobra Tag app records the GPS location and time and day of the event and sends this information to a pre-configured contact list via email, text or social media account.
