ClubLocal Online Home Service Offerings to Include Holiday Lighting Installation

Nov 27, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- ClubLocal, a service in Dallas-Fort Worth that enables customers to instantly book home repairs online and on its iPhone app, announced it will expand its home service offerings to include holiday lighting installation and decoration.


In a release, the Company noted that this addition brings the total number of services available on ClubLocal.com to 20, including everything from plumbing to carpet cleaning to heating and air conditioning repair.

As with all of its services, when customers book a holiday light installation appointment through ClubLocal, they are able to select a two-hour time window in which the ClubLocal Service Professional will arrive. ClubLocal even notifies customers when their Service Professional is en route, enabling them to track their location and estimated arrival in real time online.

"We started ClubLocal because we believed that the way people buy local services today was fundamentally broken," said Jamie Adams, ClubLocal's vice president of customer experience.

"From figuring out who to call, how much it should cost, when they will show up and what to do if something goes wrong, it was just too much work. People are busy, especially during the holidays - we knew there had to be a better way." The full list of holiday lighting services offered by ClubLocal includes: -Custom Holiday Lighting Installation -Custom Holiday Lighting Design -Christmas Lighting Installation -Holiday Tree Decoration and Wrapping -End of Season Lighting Removal -Basic Holiday Light Setup -Christmas Decoration Setup -Wreath and Garland Decorating -Lighting Installation on Roofline, Gutters, and Windows ClubLocal conducts background checks on all of its service providers and ensures each is licensed and insured. ClubLocal also continues to monitor service provider performance with each job completed, and only retains those that continue to receive positive performance reviews.

"Our mission is to make the home repair process faster, easier and safer by basically doing all the hard work for our customers," said Adams.

The company equips each Service Provider with an iPad to process mobile payments on the spot, and emails and stores all estimates, receipts and warranties in the customer's secure online account.

To help customers prepare their homes for the holidays, customers who register by Dec. 15 will receive an email offer for an additional $25 credit toward a carpet cleaning, holiday lights or house cleaning service to be booked by the end of the year.
