Networking Sales Veteran David Appleman Joins Edgewater Networks As Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Edgewater Networks (News - Alert), Inc., a leading provider of Enterprise Session Border Controllers (ESBCs), announced today that David Appleman has joined the company as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales. David brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise and service provider sales and business development roles responsible for the continued growth of privately and publically held companies.

Previously, David Appleman served as VP of Sales, America's at Edgeware, Inc., a Swedish-based provider of distributed video dlivery network platforms. In this capacity, he developed and rapidly grew new business revenue in the first year of operation in the America's region. While at Motorola (News - Alert), Inc., David built and led a sales team targeting telecommunications providers and cable operators that significantly increased revenue in the United States. As Vice President of Sales at Netopia (News - Alert), Inc., he directed sales initiatives in the America's that represented a large percentage of the company's annual revenues. David Appleman has also served in senior leadership roles at Actiontec Electronics and Excite@Home.
