Cisco News - Spanlink Communications Receives Cisco Master Managed Services Certification
By Laura Stotler, TMCnet Contributing Editor
Contact center solutions provider, Spanlink (News - Alert) Communications has achieved Cisco Master Managed Service Certification. The Cisco partner, who specializes in the design, implementation and support of contact center and customer collaboration solutions, has also achieved the Cisco Powered Managed Unified Communications (News - Alert) designation.
The achievements acknowledge Spanlink's investment in the ITIL processes, practices and tools necessary to offer high-quality managed services. As a Cisco (News - Alert) Master Managed Services Certified Partner, Spanlink has shown an ability to deliver sophisticated solutions. The company also met requirements that reflect its capabilities and underwent an independent audit by an objective, third-party auditor.
Spanlink was also required to offer at least two managed services in support of Cisco solutions. The company actually surpassed this requirement by providing a wide range of managed services. These include the Spanlink Safeguard Suite, comprised of monitoring tools, daily configuration audits, hourly network drills, and trunk usage and capacity reports. Services also include account management, support services to ensure high-availability moves/adds/changes/deletions (MACD), script modifications, configuration management, disaster recovery, quarterly service reviews and quarterly patch installation.
Spanlink has more than 23 years of experience helping companies transform their businesses using virtual unified communications. The company tailors each customer's solution and support plan to its individual business needs, applying expert advising, deployment, integration and managed services to create a comprehensive solution. Spanlink aims to help clients understand how to leverage their contact centers to monitor and proactively respond to social media to engage customers and prospects.
"Technology needs and system requirements can shift quickly, and though the technology itself is nimble enough to handle the changes, allocating the resources, ensuring the resources are skilled in the appropriate areas and setting aside the proper time to make the changes are often our customers' biggest challenges," said Lisa Goette, director of customer support services at Spanlink. "That's where Spanlink Managed Services comes in. This certification highlights our breadth of expertise, and customers and prospects can feel confident that when modifications are needed, they have the skilled resources necessary to assist them."
"Spanlink's investment in the Cisco Master Managed Services certification ranks it among an elite group of channel partners with the resources to deploy, manage and support services for multiple technologies," said Edison Peres, senior vice president of worldwide channels at Cisco.
